Learning How to Clean a Swimming Pool Filter is one of the most important swimming pool maintenance tasks of keeping your swimming pool sparkling clean!

I cannot stress enough the importance of knowing how to keep a swimming pool filter clean. It’s about on the same level as remembering your spouses’ or significant others’ birthday. Yea, it’s that important. Start looking at your filter differently; your filter is your friend. Think about it this way: if you clean your filter four times in one year, which is average under normal conditions, and it takes you one hour to clean it, you are spending only four hours a year, and your filter will reward you with sparkling water 365 days of the year. Can you dream of a better friend?

I won’t waste more of your time trying to convince you how beautiful your pool will look or how much money you will be saving merely by keeping your swimming pool filter clean on a regular basis. I will, however, be demonstrating how to open up and clean a variety of different filters. Some filters can be very difficult; I’ll be the first to admit it, however being a person that seeks the path of least resistance, I feel confident that when you see how easy cleaning your filter can be, the next time you pass your filter you’ll say, “Hey Joe, what’s up?”

Here are a few links to different types of filters that I have created instructional How To Videos:
