how to keep leaves out of pool

Learning How to keep Leaves Out of Pool will save you a lot of time! Fall and Winter is the time of year when trees drop their leaves, and of course, whether the tree is yours or your neighbor’s, they will inevitably find their way into your pool.

To avoid, or at least minimize the frustration of scooping them out of your pool, be pre-emptive. Put a power nozzle on the end of your hose and blast the leaves off before the wind blows them into your pool. You may have to do this every other day until they are all off, but the time it saves is worth it.

I also do this in the Spring, knocking down pollen from pine trees or blossoms from non-fruit bearing trees.

If you have to many leaves to keep them out of the pool on a weekly basis, you may use a Jandy Leaf Master Pool Cleaner, which can save a ton of time.

Hi, thanks for all the great information. In your video you mention using a leaf vac that the handle fits over the pole rather than inside the pole. What brand has this handle on it? All I can seem to find are the handles that fit into the pole.

The name of the Leaf Master is a Jandy. I found it on Amazon, but I am in the process of finding a store to place on my site so folks like you don’t have to search around. Be sure to get the fine mesh bag, makes a huge difference. Thanks for watching and happy cleaning! Lucy
